Welcome to Homebody
"Where Eastern & Western Medicine meet in the middle."

Eli Brown, LMT
Plattsburgh native. My interest in medicine started when I was very young and I’ve been studying the body ever since. I was always told that I have “healing hands”. I never really knew what that meant until I attended massage school at NCCC in Saranac Lake. I left with an Associates Degree in Applied Science and my massage licensure in 2019. Soon after I started practice at Archer Bodyworks for 2 years with an excellent reputation. I then took off to Florida to pursue my studies and came back to serve my community. To me Homebody is more than just Therapeutic Massage, it’s also a Self-Care Education service using and promoting breathwork, meditation, yoga, stretching, somatics, herbs, and essential oils. My style of bodywork is a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Thai, TCM, and Shiatsu. I am a Graston Technique provider which are fascial tools used for acute and chronic soft-tissue injury, mobility restoration, and post-surgical rehabilitation. I use a blend of Eastern holistic and Western sports medicine to achieve each clients specific goals. I am very passionate about teaching clients how to regulate their nervous system to ease stress, restore functional mobility, and reduce pain. I host classes and workshops semi-regularly which you can stay up to date on by following my Facebook page. I’m also working on my 100 Hour Somatic Movement Education certification to teach one-on-one and group classes.
What is Graston Technique?
Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization

Why choose Graston?
Soft tissue injuries can be debilitating and frustrating. Graston Technique (GT) therapy is successful in effectively treating all soft tissue conditions, whether they are chronic, acute or post-surgical. GT can help you enjoy life again. Their unique technique and instruments enable the treatment of scar tissue and fascial restrictions that allow for faster rehabilitation with greater success with restoring range of motion, eliminating pain, and restoring normal function.

Why I love Graston
I love Graston because it’s evidence based, highly effective, and efficient. It’s speeds up recovery with less treatment time. I have personal experience with Graston and it’s amazing benefits. It has helped me recover from Tennis Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis). After receiving Graston I was amazed, I quickly went to Boston for training. I’ve been providing clients for over a year and a half with the same technique that helped me so much and they all love it too.
